The definition is pretty loose on what’s going to be good bad and ugly, but let’s start with the good. I think that we’re going to see much more. Indie and smaller brands. Really take precedents in the market people want different people want nostalgia people want places that they’ve been before.

WHERE BLACK CULTURE AND FRAGRANCE COMMUNITY meet

Are you on Instagram? Are you into fragrance? Have you tried or do you own black owned fragrances? If you aren’t you’re missing out on some big cultural moments and community coming together. I “officially” joined Fragrancetok around April 2025 and then joined Instagram community soon after. I am finding that this week in particular, February 1st to 7th, 2026 to be the most community forward and fun week i’ve probably ever had.

Almost as fun as the preparing for Scent Xplore.

There is a bunch of black perfumers, black creatives, and all of their allies making videos, posts, blogs, discounts, samples, giveaways, events, and so much more all in one week. This is also in celebration of black history month. To be apart of black community is to know black history is being made everyday.
